Customer Service Manager
Kari Allen was born in St. Petersburg, FL in June of 1988, becoming the family’s first child. When she was three, Kari’s family moved to LaPorte, IN and lived there until she was 18. Her family then moved to Corydon, IN which she now proudly calls home.
Kari began working for the family business at the age of 17. She started by answering phones and taking service calls. Shortly after that was The AllenBar adventure. Kari and her siblings helped with the manufacturing, packaging, and shipping all AllenBar orders. While working for Appliance Zone Kari was part of the customer service team which at her young age taught her patience and understanding of others’ situations. She enjoys talking to customers worldwide and assisting with any issues the customer’s may have.
Kari is a versatile team leader for Appliance Zone. Because of her valuable experience in customer service, she became the Training Leader for all customer service personnel, which has become integral part of maximizing everyone’s success in that department. She finds it a great accomplishment to see her “students” get great ratings from customers. Kari was recently assumed the Customer Service Manager role for Appliance Zone. Here she looks forward to getting the Customer Service Team up to speed to insure that all customers have a pleasant experience with Appliance Zone.
Kari admires successful leaders and entrepreneurs such as Donald Trump, Indra Nooyi (CEO of Pepsi Cola), and her father Jim Allen. She strives to be successful in all aspects of her life both personally and professionally. In Kari’s spare time she enjoys watching biographies and reading about successful entrepreneurs, being outdoors, and spending time with her family.
Kari’s future goals in life are being able to travel all over the world, begin a family of her own, and take over the family business.
