Return Policy

At Appliance Zone we offer our customers a restriction-free return policy on our parts. Customers have 90 days from the date of receiving the part to contact us for a return. Once contacted, we will then issue the Return Authorization that will need to be included with the return for proper credit processing.

Appliance Zone recommends that any customer returning a part receive a tracking number from the carrier of their choice. Once the part is delivered to our receiving department please allow 2-3 weeks for processing, as most refunds are issued within a few days. Depending on your bank’s policy it may take up to two weeks for them to post the credit to your account.

No part(s) may be returned without the Return Authorization obtained by contacting Appliance Zone. Authorization does not guarantee a credit. Any parts returned without obtaining a Return Authorization will be charged a 50% restocking fee. Appliance Zone has the right to refuse any unauthorized package. An unauthorized package is any part return that has not been given an RA number or any part found to have been previously installed/used.

Unauthorized packages may be refused at the warehouse and returned to the sender. Customers may incur the cost of shipping the unauthorized package back to the sender. For items cancelled or returned due to reasons other than an error on our part, the actual cost of shipping will be deducted from the refund and Appliance Zone is not responsible for return postage. Parts in non-OEM packaging will be declined for a refund.

Some returns may require additional shipping & handling fees due to contents, size or product/services, these fees will be deducted from your total refund amount. In some cases, an additional $5.00 processing fee may be added.

Of course these are our basic guidelines but we are always working for our customers so if you need assistance outside of the policy listed above please contact for a resolution.

*As long as we receive this return in the original packing, the part(s) is unused and not installed we will be able to process the refund. If we do receive the part(s) used, installed or without original packaging we will not be able to process the refund. Installed and used parts will be disposed of immediately and we will not be able to get these back from the warehouse. All electrical parts that are returned are inspected by technicians for signs of installation on the parts. will not accept the following parts back for a refund or return:

  • Used or Installed Products
  • Parts Returned in Non-OEM Packaging
  • Special Order Items
  • Manuals
  • Tools
  • Installed/Used Electrical Parts & Gas Parts - For the purposes of this policy, electrical parts are considered installed when the wires and or harnesses are attached. Electrical parts that have been plugged-in but have not had power applied to them are still classified as having been installed and do not qualify for return. Gas components include, but are not limited to, items such as gas valves, pressure regulators and safety valves. These items cannot be returned if the gas lines or electrical connectors have been attached.

Need to return an item?

Follow these steps to ensure that your return is accepted and processed as quickly as possible:
  • The part must be returned within 90 days of receiving the shipment.
  • The part(s) being returned must be in new (unused) condition, and must include any accessories that came with the item (i.e. manuals, warranties, security seals, etc.). Any electrical item that has been plugged in or tested qualifies as used.
  • The part(s) must be returned in the original packaging that it was sent in.
  • The part must be returned with two Return Authorization labels. One label should be adhered to the outside of the packaging and a copy of the label should also be included inside the packaging.

If your part qualifies for Recycle for Cash, and was sent with instructions for returning your used control board core to receive cash back, click on the button below to fill out a core return request form. Once your request is processed you will receive a Return Authorization label via email. Once we receive your core return, it may take 10 – 15 additional business days for your reimbursement to be processed.
